Application Deadlines for 2024 in UK Universities
It is important to familiarise yourself with key UCAS deadlines before you start your application. There is a lot of time available for many universities (Cambridge and Oxford) and courses (medicine, veterinary, and dentistry) and it’s crucial that you are fully aware of the effects on your application.
The following are all UCAS deadlines for courses in the UK but these are the main dates for familiarisation in the UCAS application cycle.
- 15 October 2024 – Both Cambridge and Oxford courses and all the other universities have most courses in pharmacy, veterinary, and dentistry.
- 15 January 2024 – All other EU college undergraduate courses
- 30 June 2024 – All other international student undergraduate courses
However, after certain deadlines, foreign applications are permitted by selected UK universities.
Admission Deadlines for 2024 Intake
Students wishing to study in the UK since September 2024 are subject to all the below deadlines.
- 15th October 2024
Oxford and Cambridge Universities and the bulk of medical, veterinary, and dental courses are due. Deadline.
- 15th January 2024
Deadline for most EU student baccalaureate courses.
- 30th June
Deadline for most foreign student undergraduate courses.
- UCAS Clearing enters applications obtained after June 30.
- 4th July
The last application date for entry is September 2024 via UCAS Extra.
- 5th July
2024 Opens UCAS Clearing.
2024 Findings published by the International Bachelor of Arts.
- On the 19th of August
Day of outcomes A-level.

There are some key deadlines for applying for admission in the UK.
October: time limits for all courses in Surgery, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine
Mid-January: EU/EEA student UCAS deadline. After the submission deadline for UCAS, high-ranking universities will not consider Bachelor applications
End of June: deadline for non-EU/EEA foreign students

Online Application for Admission in the UK
Depending on your application form, degree level, and the way you plan to study, the UCAS application process varies.
The online application process of UCAS is known as ‘Apply’ and is available on the UCAS website along with all available courses. So you can request internet access from any computer.
The UCAS works closely to ensure that all applicants have access to this scheme with colleges, schools, libraries, and other organizations.
Students can apply for a conservatory in the performing arts. UCAS Conservatories are expected to request applications for several of these institutions. Many universities are now hiring through UCAS.
Applications for part-time courses are slightly different and universities must be contacted to learn how to apply. For postgraduate studies (PG), some are accessed through the UCAS Postgraduate Service, while most are handled by the application. The following are not included. The number of direct applications to PG courses that can be made online is normally not limited.
The Language Requirement to study in the UK
You have a plethora of degrees taught in English at UK universities which you can choose from. For this purpose, you will have to deliver evidence of advanced English language proficiency unless you come from an English-speaking country. The Language Tests approved are:

You will also need to include copied documentation to validate your identity and academic background alongside your personal information when you are applying for Masters in the UK or for MBA in the UK. This may include:
- Certificate of birth
- National identity card, passport
- Letters of reference, if applicable
- Evidence of competence in English
- Copies of certificates of graduation/diploma
- Transcripts from academia
- Graduates who send a research proposal may also be asked to submit it
A competent authority shall certify any or all copies of the text, verifying its validity. If a document is not in English, a notarized official translation might be mandatory.
